Key issues addressed and programs implemented since August 2008:
Composting research for the Hendrix community, replacement of Styrofoam products by biodegradable products at our campus vendor, creation of the "Green Team" as a means of encouraging our community to be environmentally minded.
Progress made on each issue/program since August 2008:
Composting research is still in preliminary stages, the biodegradable products were well received, the Green Team is now requested at most campus events.

3) Does your student government include a specific position or committee dedicated to campus sustainability issues?

[X ]  Yes. Please describe: The Environmental Concerns Committee has a seat, that is filled by the chair of the committee, in our Senate.

OTHER ACTIVITIES
4) Please describe any additional campus sustainability activities or projects that you or your group has initiated at your school:
We held an Earth Day on campus this year. We started a dish lending program so that clubs could use our dishes rather than buy paper or Styrofoam products.
